In early 2026, Chris Benchetler began a creative collaboration with the band Goose — an exploration of the space where visual art and music intersect and influence one another.

What began as a shared appreciation for each other’s creative work has grown into an ongoing collaboration spanning stages, posters, paintings, and album artwork. Chris created the official poster for Goose’s 2026 Madison Square Garden shows, followed by a series of paintings celebrating each individual member of the band. He also created six original works for use on TED Tracks Vol. 9–14, bringing his distinctive visual language to the band’s music in a new way.

In August, the collaboration came to life in real time when Chris joined Goose at Red Rocks for a live painting performance — creating alongside the music and allowing the energy of the performance to directly shape the work. The resulting work, “Umbra,” is a 36” x 36” alcohol ink on canvas piece that captures the magic of that night. 

This ongoing collaboration between two creative worlds will continue to evolve on canvas, on stage, and through the intersections between.
